LOCK THE MECHANISM OF THE ACCESS DOOR 316AR WITH THE PIP PIN WHEN YOU OPEN THE ACCESS DOOR. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY.

Subtask 49-94-14-860-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbuttom switch is released (ON legend is off).
(3) On the APU section of overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-94-14-865-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Get Access
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the APU compartment.
(3) Make sure that APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the light switch 11LJ is in the ON position.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
(1) Make sure that the 98L12003001000 HARNESS,SAFETY is put and attached before you start work in the work area.(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the APU compartment.
(3) Make sure that APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that the light switch 11LJ is in the ON position.
Subtask 49-94-14-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the LOP Switch Adapter
(1) Apply Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) to the new O-ring (2).
(2) Install the new AIPC 49-21-04-54-170 PACKING (2) or AIPC 49-21-84-20-620 PACKING (2) in the new AIPC 49-21-04-54-140 ADAPTER (3) or AIPC 49-21-84-20-600 ADAPTER (3).
(3) Install the LOP switch adapter (3) in the gearbox.
(4) Install the plate (1) and the bolt (5).
(5) TORQUE the bolt (5) to between 51 and 46 lbf.in (0.58 and 0.52 m.daN )

(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Install the flexline (4) into the LOP switch adapter (3).
(8) TORQUE the flexline (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
.
(9) Do the servicing of the oil system (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-004).
Subtask 49-94-14-865-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Apply Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) to the new O-ring (2).
(2) Install the new AIPC 49-21-04-54-170 PACKING (2) or AIPC 49-21-84-20-620 PACKING (2) in the new AIPC 49-21-04-54-140 ADAPTER (3) or AIPC 49-21-84-20-600 ADAPTER (3).
(3) Install the LOP switch adapter (3) in the gearbox.
(4) Install the plate (1) and the bolt (5).
(5) TORQUE the bolt (5) to between 51 and 46 lbf.in (0.58 and 0.52 m.daN )
.(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Install the flexline (4) into the LOP switch adapter (3).
(8) TORQUE the flexline (4) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
.(9) Do the servicing of the oil system (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-004).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-710-008).
(a) Operate the APU for a minimum of five minutes and examine the joints of the LOP switch adapter for leaks.

NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 49-94-14-410-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the safety harness.

(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
