A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7) Make sure that the LIGHT SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
(8) Make sure that the CONTAINER 3 L(3/4 USGAL) is in position below the LOP switch.
Subtask 49-94-14-865-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

4. ProcedureSubtask 49-94-14-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Low Oil Pressure (LOP) Switch
(1) Apply a layer of Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) to the new AIPC 49-94-09-01-030 PACKING (3).
(2) Install the new packing (3) on the LOP switch (2).
(3) Remove the blanking plug from the gearbox port.
(4) Install the LOP switch (2) in the gearbox.
(5) Tighten the bolt (4).
(6) Remove the container.
(7) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the LOP switch (2).
Subtask 49-94-14-210-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL Subtask 49-94-14-865-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Apply a layer of Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) to the new AIPC 49-94-09-01-030 PACKING (3).
(2) Install the new packing (3) on the LOP switch (2).
(3) Remove the blanking plug from the gearbox port.
(4) Install the LOP switch (2) in the gearbox.
(5) Tighten the bolt (4).
(6) Remove the container.
(7) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the LOP switch (2).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Start and Operate the APU to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU
(1) Start and operate the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2) Let the APU run for 5 minutes to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU.
(4) Do a leak check of the LOP switch.
5. Close-up(1) Start and operate the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2) Let the APU run for 5 minutes to check the System Report/Test on the MCDU.
NOTE: The SYSTEM SELF-TEST page must not show LOP switch.
(3) Shut down the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009). (4) Do a leak check of the LOP switch.
NOTE: No leaks are permitted.
Subtask 49-94-14-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-94-14-860-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
