Removal of the Low Oil Pressure (LOP) Switch Adapter (APS3200)

DO NOT TOUCH THE APU UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
WARNING:
USE THE CORRECT PERSONAL PROTECTION.
OIL CAN HAVE ADDITIVE CALLED TRICRESYL PHOSPHATE IN IT. THIS CHEMICAL IS AN ASPHYXIANT, IT IS POISONOUS AND CAN BE ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN.
USE CARE WHEN ENGINE OIL IS DRAINED. HOT OIL CAN POSSIBLY CAUSE BAD BURNS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is OFF.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is OFF.

(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
(1) Put on and attach a safety harness before you start work in the work area(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-94-14-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the LOP Switch Adapter
(1) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) in position below the LOP switch adapter (3).
(2) Disconnect the flexline (4) from the LOP switch adapter (3).
(3) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the bolt (5) and the plate (1).
(5) Remove the LOP switch adapter (3).
(6) Discard the O-ring (2) and the LOP switch adapter (3).
(1) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) in position below the LOP switch adapter (3).
(2) Disconnect the flexline (4) from the LOP switch adapter (3).
(3) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the bolt (5) and the plate (1).
(5) Remove the LOP switch adapter (3).
(6) Discard the O-ring (2) and the LOP switch adapter (3).
