Subtask 49-42-55-010-050-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Remove the third occupant seat (Ref. AMM TASK 25-11-41-000-001)
   (2) In the cockpit, on the left lower side of the panel 120VU:
  • open the access door (1).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE at the access door 121AL.
   (4) Open the access door 121AL.

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
   (2) Put a warning notice on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
   (3) In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure these pushbutton switches are released:
  • APU GEN,
  • BAT 1, BAT 2,
  • GEN 1, GEN 2,
  • EXT PWR.
   (4) In the cockpit, put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels:
  • 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR),
  • 25VU (APU),
  • 35VU (ELEC).
4. Procedure
Subtask 49-42-55-020-050-A
A. Removal of the Start Contactor(s)
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector(s) (2).
   (2) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector(s) (2).
   (3) Use a SOCKET DIA 13 MM (0,51 IN) to loosen the captive screws (3) and remove the contactor(s) (4) from the DC Bus 1 Contactor Module (13PN).
NOTE: Do not remove the captive screws (3) and the crinkle washers from the contactor(s) (4).
