A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at zone 191.
(2) Make sure that forward belly-fairing panel 191AB is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-25-11-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at zone 191.
(2) Make sure that forward belly-fairing panel 191AB is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-25-11-000-001).
Subtask 47-41-15-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Oxygen Sensor
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Install the oxygen sensor (15) with the bolts (13) and washers (14). Tighten the bolts (13) with your hand.
(4) Installation of the bonding strap (9).
(a) Remove the TIE WRAP that attaches the bonding strap (9) to the IGGS pallet (16).
(b) Prepare for electrical bonding the bolt (11), the washer (10) and the bonding strap (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Install the bonding strap (9) with the washer (10) and the bolt (11). Tighten the bolt (11) with your hand.
(5) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(6) Installation of the duct assembly (1) and the hose assembly (6).
(a) Connect the duct assembly (1) to the oxygen sensor (15).
(b) TORQUE the end fitting of the duct assembly (1) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
.
(c) Install the clamp (2) on the duct assembly (1).
(d) Install the clamp (2) with the washer (3) and the screw (4) on the IGGS pallet (16).
(e) TORQUE the screw (4) to between .361 and 0.272 m.daN (31.95 and 24.07 lbf.in )
.
(f) Install the first tube union (5) in the hose assembly (6).
(g) TORQUE the first tube union (5) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
.
(h) Install a new AIPC 47-41-04-01-100 PACKING (7) or AIPC 47-41-84-01-120 PACKING (7) in the second tube union (5).
(i) Retain the NEA duct assembly (8) when you do the four subsequent sub-steps.
(j) Install the tube union (5) with the packing (7) in the duct assembly (8).
(k) TORQUE the tube union (5) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )

(m) TORQUE the end fittings of the hose assembly (6) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
.
(7) TORQUE the bolts (11) and (13) to between 0.361 and 0.272 m.daN (31.95 and 24.07 lbf.in )
.
(9) Apply Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) to the bolt head (11), and let it dry.
(10) Do a check of the maximum bonding value
(a) Remove the TIE WRAP that attaches the electrical connector (12) to the IGGS pallet (16).
(b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the oxygen sensor (15).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 47-41-15-790-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
DO NOT GO INTO THE WORK AREA UNTIL A MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES AFTER YOU REMOVE THE ACCESS PANEL. LET AIR FLOW THROUGH THE WORK AREA. AIR FROM THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW OXYGEN CONTENT AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TOUCH THIS ASSEMBLY. IT HAS PRECISION- TOLERANCE COMPONENTS WITH VERY POLISHED SURFACES. IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, IT IS VERY EASY TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THESE COMPONENTS (INTERNAL CONTAMINATION, EXTERNAL IMPACT DAMAGE).
CAUTION:
REMOVE OR INSTALL PACKING SEALS CAREFULLY. DAMAGE TO SEALS OR SEALING SURFACES CAN CAUSE LEAKAGE AND CORROSION.
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Install the oxygen sensor (15) with the bolts (13) and washers (14). Tighten the bolts (13) with your hand.
(4) Installation of the bonding strap (9).
(a) Remove the TIE WRAP that attaches the bonding strap (9) to the IGGS pallet (16).
(b) Prepare for electrical bonding the bolt (11), the washer (10) and the bonding strap (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(c) Install the bonding strap (9) with the washer (10) and the bolt (11). Tighten the bolt (11) with your hand.
(5) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(6) Installation of the duct assembly (1) and the hose assembly (6).
(a) Connect the duct assembly (1) to the oxygen sensor (15).
(b) TORQUE the end fitting of the duct assembly (1) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
. (c) Install the clamp (2) on the duct assembly (1).
(d) Install the clamp (2) with the washer (3) and the screw (4) on the IGGS pallet (16).
(e) TORQUE the screw (4) to between .361 and 0.272 m.daN (31.95 and 24.07 lbf.in )
. (f) Install the first tube union (5) in the hose assembly (6).
(g) TORQUE the first tube union (5) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
. (h) Install a new AIPC 47-41-04-01-100 PACKING (7) or AIPC 47-41-84-01-120 PACKING (7) in the second tube union (5).
(i) Retain the NEA duct assembly (8) when you do the four subsequent sub-steps.
(j) Install the tube union (5) with the packing (7) in the duct assembly (8).
(k) TORQUE the tube union (5) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
. CAUTION:
USE THE MACHINED WRENCH FLATS ON THE O2 SENSOR DUCT PORTS WHEN YOU TORQUE THE END FITTINGS OF THE O2 SENSOR DUCT. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE DUCTS.
(l) Connect the end fittings of the hose assembly (6) between the tube unions (5). (m) TORQUE the end fittings of the hose assembly (6) to between 0.848 and 0.656 m.daN (75.04 and 58.05 lbf.in )
. (7) TORQUE the bolts (11) and (13) to between 0.361 and 0.272 m.daN (31.95 and 24.07 lbf.in )
. WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(8) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the bolt head (11) and the washer (10), and let it dry. (9) Apply Coating_- Flexible Structure (Material No.04QAB2) to the bolt head (11), and let it dry.
(10) Do a check of the maximum bonding value
- between the IGGS pallet (16) and the primary metal structure of the fuselage.
- Make sure that the maximum bonding value is not more than 20 milliohms.
(a) Remove the TIE WRAP that attaches the electrical connector (12) to the IGGS pallet (16).
(b) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(c) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(d) Connect the electrical connector (12) to the oxygen sensor (15).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
WARNING:
DO NOT GO INTO THE WORK AREA UNTIL A MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES AFTER YOU REMOVE THE ACCESS PANEL. LET AIR FLOW THROUGH THE WORK AREA. AIR FROM THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW OXYGEN CONTENT AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
B. Leak Test NOTE: Do the two subsequent steps at the same time. Two persons are necessary to do these steps.
(1) Do the BITE Test of the IGGS with Bleed Air (Ref. AMM TASK 47-31-34-740-001). (2) Examine the joints between the:
- duct assembly (1) and oxygen sensor (15),
- hose assembly (6), first tube union (5) and duct assembly (1),
- hose assembly (6), second tube union (5) and NEA duct assembly (8).
NOTE: Air leaks are not permitted.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install forward belly-fairing panel 191AB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-25-11-400-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
