C. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 191.
   (2) Remove forward belly-fairing panel 191AB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-25-11-000-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 47-41-11-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the ASM Inlet Temperature Sensor
WARNING: DO NOT GO INTO THE WORK AREA UNTIL A MINIMUM OF 5 MINUTES AFTER YOU REMOVE THE ACCESS PANEL. LET AIR FLOW THROUGH THE WORK AREA. AIR FROM THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW OXYGEN CONTENT AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TOUCH THIS ASSEMBLY. IT HAS PRECISION- TOLERANCE COMPONENTS WITH VERY POLISHED SURFACES. IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, IT IS VERY EASY TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THESE COMPONENTS (INTERNAL CONTAMINATION, EXTERNAL IMPACT DAMAGE).
CAUTION: REMOVE OR INSTALL PACKING SEALS CAREFULLY. DAMAGE TO SEALS OR SEALING SURFACES CAN CAUSE LEAKAGE AND CORROSION.
   (1) Disconnection of the electrical connector (5).
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the ASM inlet temperature sensor (temperature sensor) (4).
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Temporarily attach the electrical connector (5) with a TIE WRAP to the IGGS pallet.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (2) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire.
   (3) Retain the ASM inlet duct assembly (duct assembly) (1) when you do the subsequent step.
   (4) Carefully remove the temperature sensor (4) from the duct assembly (1).
   (5) Remove and discard the packing (2).
   (6) Remove the shim(s) (3) from the temperature sensor (4).
NOTE: Record the number of shim(s) for the installation procedure.
   (7) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
