3. Job Set-up
Subtask 47-31-34-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
   (2) Do the pre-conditioning of the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or through the GROUND AIR-SUPPLY UNIT(HIGH PRESSURE) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
   (3) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:
  • Set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to the NAV position.
   (4) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (5) Do one of the applicable procedures that follow:
     (a) With APU:
On the overhead panel on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU make sure that:
  • the PACK 1 pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the OFF legend is off).
  • the PACK 2 pushbutton switch is in the OFF position (the OFF legend is on).
  • the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the ON legend is on)

     (b) With GSE:
On the overhead panel on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU make sure that:
  • the PACK 1 pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the OFF legend is off).
  • the PACK 2 pushbutton switch is in the OFF position (the OFF legend is on).
   (6) On the MCDU, get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/AIR COND Pages (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-002).

4. Procedure

A. BITE Test (Self-Test of the IGGS) with Bleed-Air.
NOTE: During the test, obey the instructions shown on the terminal screen.

RESULT
1. On the MCDU page managed by CFDIU
  • Push the line key adjacent to the CSAS legend.
2. On the MCDU page managed by CSAS BITE.
  • The CSAS/IGGS menu page comes into view.

3. On the System Test Page:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TEST W BLEED legend.

  • The TEST W BLEED page comes into view.
4. Start the test.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the START TEST legend.
The IGGS self-test starts
  • The legend TEST IN PROGRESS comes into view.
5. Test Results.
  • After the Test is completed, read the test results.
  • If the IGGS is serviceable the legend TEST OK (SYSTEM UNLATCHED) comes into view.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (2) On the overhead panel, on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU:
  • Set the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches to the OFF position. The OFF legends come on and the FAULT legends go off.
   (3) Do one of the applicable procedures that follow:
     (a) With APU:
     (b) With GSE:
  • Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (5) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:
  • Set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to the OFF position.
   (6) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002)
