BITE Test of the IGGS with Bleed Air
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT:
1. Reason for the Job- THERE ARE NO CAPS OR COVERS ON THE FUEL TANK VENTILATION DUCTS. CAPS OR COVERS WILL CAUSE OVERPRESSURE OR UNDERPRESSURE DAMAGE TO THE FUEL TANK.
- NO PERSONS ARE NEAR THE FUEL TANK OR VENTILATION DUCTS OF THE FUEL TANK.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
(2) Do the pre-conditioning of the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or through the GROUND AIR-SUPPLY UNIT(HIGH PRESSURE) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(3) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(5) Do one of the applicable procedures that follow:
(a) With APU:
On the overhead panel on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU make sure that:

(2) Do the pre-conditioning of the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) or through the GROUND AIR-SUPPLY UNIT(HIGH PRESSURE) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(3) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:
- Set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to the NAV position.
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(5) Do one of the applicable procedures that follow:
(a) With APU:
On the overhead panel on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU make sure that:
- the PACK 1 pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the OFF legend is off).
- the PACK 2 pushbutton switch is in the OFF position (the OFF legend is on).
- the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the ON legend is on)
On the overhead panel on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU make sure that:
- the PACK 1 pushbutton switch is in the ON position (the OFF legend is off).
- the PACK 2 pushbutton switch is in the OFF position (the OFF legend is on).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) On the overhead panel, on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU:
(a) With APU:

(5) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:

(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) On the overhead panel, on the AIR COND section of the control panel 30VU:
- Set the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches to the OFF position. The OFF legends come on and the FAULT legends go off.
(a) With APU:
- Do the APU Shutdown procedure:

- (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009)
- Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) On the overhead panel, on ADIRS MSU 41VU:
- Set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to the OFF position.
