A. Installation of the Dual-Flow and Shut-off Valve
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU TOUCH THIS ASSEMBLY. IT HAS PRECISION- TOLERANCE COMPONENTS WITH VERY POLISHED SURFACES. IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, IT IS VERY EASY TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THESE COMPONENTS (INTERNAL CONTAMINATION, EXTERNAL IMPACT DAMAGE).
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (4) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic Oil base Grease-Fuel and Oxidized Environment Fluorinated - (Material No.03GEE1) to the new AIPC 47-21-04-01-070 PACKING (3) or AIPC 47-21-84-01-040 PACKING (3), AIPC 47-21-04-01-070 PACKING (5) or AIPC 47-21-84-01-040 PACKING (5), AIPC 47-21-04-01-020 PACKING (10) or AIPC 47-21-84-01-020 PACKING (10) and AIPC 47-21-04-01-020 PACKING (12) or AIPC 47-21-84-01-020 PACKING (12).
   (5) Install the packing (3) on the duct assembly (2).
   (6) Install the packing (12) on the duct assembly (13).
   (7) Install the packing (5) on the outlet fitting DFSOV (9).
   (8) Install the packing (10) on the inlet fitting DFSOV (9).
   (9) Install the sleeves on the DFSOV (9).
     (a) Pull up the latch pawls of the clamp on the coupling (4) to release the sleeve.
     (b) Put the sleeve in position on the outlet fitting DFSOV (9). Push the sleeve until it is at the bottom of the outlet fitting DFSOV (9).
     (c) Pull up the latch pawls of the clamp on the coupling (11) to release the sleeve.
     (d) Put the sleeve in position on the inlet fitting DFSOV (9). Push the sleeve until it is at the bottom of the inlet fitting of the DFSOV (9).
   (10) Install the DFSOV (9) on the IGGS Pallet (1).
     (a) Carefully put the DFSOV (9) in position to the IGGS pallet (1).
     (b) Then support the DFSOV (9) and use the screws (8) and the washers (7) to install it on the IGGS pallet (1).
NOTE: Install the screws (8) by hand at this step, loosely assembly so the DFSOV (9) can be aligned correctly.
   (11) Install the clamp of the coupling assembly (4) to the sleeve.
     (a) Move the sleeve across the packing (3) and install it on the duct assembly (2).
NOTE: Make sure that packings (3) and (5) are below the sleeve, and that the distance between each packing (3) and (5) and each sleeve end is equal.
     (b) Install the clamp on the coupling assembly (4) to the sleeve and engage the latches.
   (12) Install the clamp of the coupling assembly (11) to the sleeve.
     (a) Move the sleeve across the packing (12) and install it on the duct assembly (13).
NOTE: Make sure that packings (10) and (12) are below the sleeve, and that the distance between each packing (10) and (12) and each sleeve end is equal.
     (b) Install the clamp on the coupling assembly (11) to the sleeve and engage the latches.
   (13) TORQUE the bolts (8) to between 0.361 and 0.272 m.daN (31.95 and 24.07 lbf.in )
