   (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

D. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the cabin-floor access panels between FR35 and FR42 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-000-002) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
   (2) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels at FR34 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
4. Procedure
Subtask 47-20-49-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the NEA line
NOTE: Two persons are necessary to do this procedure.
   (1) To install the Flexible NEA Hose (4):
     (a) Remove CAP - BLANKING from the disconnected pipe ends.
     (b) Install the elbow (128) on the dual-flapper check valve adapter (130) and tighten the nut (129).
     (c) TORQUE the nut (129) to between 7.40 and 7.29 m.daN (54.57 and 53.76 lbf.ft ) T.
     (d) Make sure that the flexible NEA hose (4) is free from damage.
     (e) Install the flexible NEA hose (4) on the elbow (128) and tighten the nut (127).
     (f) TORQUE the nut (127) to between 5.3 and 5.2 m.daN (39.09 and 38.35 lbf.ft )
T.
   (2) To install the NEA pipe (3):
     (a) Remove CAP - BLANKING from the disconnected pipe ends.
     (b) Install the clamp (124) on the support brackets (115) with the bolts (122) and the washers (123).
     (c) Tighten the bolts (122) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
     (d) Install the flexible NEA hose (4) on the union (125) and tighten the nut (126).
NOTE: The clearance between the hose (4) and the surrounding structure and systems must not be less than 25 mm (0.984 in.).
     (e) TORQUE the nut (126) to between 5.3 and 5.2 m.daN (39.09 and 38.35 lbf.ft ) T.
     (f) Attach the bonding lead (118) to the clamp (119) with the screw (116) and the washer (117) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (g) Install the washer (120) and the self-locking nut (121) on the clamp (119).
     (h) TORQUE the self-locking nut (121) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (i) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screw (116) and the self-locking nut (121).
     (j) Attach the bonding leads (83) to the clamps (80), (81) with the screws (79) and the washers (78) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (k) Install the washers (77) and the self-locking nuts (76) on the clamps (80) and (81).
     (l) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (76) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (m) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screws (79) and the self-locking nuts (76).
   (3) To install the NEA pipe (2):
     (a) Remove CAP - BLANKING from the disconnected pipe ends.
     (b) Install the clamps (73), (91) on the support brackets (72), (94) with the bolts (75), (90) and the washers (74), (89).
     (c) Tighten the bolts (90) and (75) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
NOTE: The distance between the NEA pipe (2) and the trim air regulating valves must not be less than 50 mm (1.969 in.).
     (d) Install the NEA pipe (3) on the union (93) and tighten the nut (82).
     (e) TORQUE the nut (82) to between 6.2 and 5.2 m.daN (45.72 and 38.35 lbf.ft ) T.
     (f) Attach the bonding leads (83) to the clamps (88), (92) with the screws (84) and the washers (85) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (g) Install the washers (87) and the self-locking nuts (86) on the clamps (88) and (92).
     (h) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (86) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (i) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screws (84) and the self-locking nuts (86).
     (j) Attach the bonding leads (44) to the clamps (50), (51) with the screws (48) and the washers (49) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (k) Install the washers (47) and the self-locking nuts (46) on the clamps (50) and (51).
     (l) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (46) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (m) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screws (48) and the self-locking nuts (46).
   (4) To install the NEA pipe (1):
     (a) Remove CAP - BLANKING from the disconnected pipe ends.
     (b) Install the clamps (30), (24) on the support brackets (28), (25) with the bolts (37), (20) and the washers (36), (21).
     (c) Tighten the bolts (37) and (20) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
     (d) Install the NEA pipe (2) on the union (45) and tighten the nut (52).
     (e) TORQUE the nut (52) to between 6.2 and 5.2 m.daN (45.72 and 38.35 lbf.ft ) T.
     (f) Install NEA pipe (1) on the union (27) and tighten the nut (16).
     (g) TORQUE the nut (16) to between 6.2 and 5.2 m.daN (45.72 and 38.35 lbf.ft )
T.
     (h) Attach the bonding leads (44) to the clamps (40), (43) with the screws (41) and the washers (42) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (i) Install the washers (39) and the self-locking nuts (38) on the clamps (40) and (43).
     (j) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (38) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (k) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screws (41) and the self-locking nuts (38).
     (l) Attach the bonding lead (35) to the clamp (32) with the screw (34) and the washer (33) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (m) Install the washer (31) and the self-locking nut (29) on the clamp (32).
     (n) TORQUE the self-locking nut (29) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (o) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screw (34) and the self-locking nut (29).
     (p) Attach the bonding leads (15) to the clamps (17), (26) with the screws (22) and the washers (23) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
     (q) Install the washers (18) and the self-locking nuts (19) on the clamps (17) and (26).
     (r) TORQUE the self-locking nuts (19) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in ) T.
     (s) Apply Varnish-- Electrical Bonding Structure (Material No.
04TMB2) on the screws (22) and the self-locking nuts (19).
   (5) Do a check of the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the cabin-floor access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-400-002) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
   (3) Install the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
   (2) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipments used during this procedure.
