CAUTION: OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS:
  • STAY ON A CONDUCTIVE SURFACE THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED.
  • USE A CONDUCTIVE WRIST-STRAP THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED. (CONNECTED TO A BONDING-POINT NEAR THE WORK AREA).
  • BEFORE YOU USE THE TOOLS, MOMENTARILY HOLD THEM AGAINST AN ELECTRICAL GROUND TO RELEASE STATIC ELECTRICITY.
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE COMPONENT DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO COMPONENT.
A. Installation of the cellular-gatelink antenna
F Cellular-gatelink antenna ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Put the coaxial cable into the hole of the bracket (2) thru the dedicated groove.
   (4) Put the cellular-gatelink antenna (1) in the installation position in the bracket (2) and install the lock washer (3) and the nut (4).
   (5) TORQUE the nut (4) to between 7.37 and 6.03 m.N (65.22 and 53.36 lbf.in ) T.
   (6) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
