A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) For the location of this component, refer to paragraph Component Location
(Ref. AMM D/O 46-41-00-00).
(2) Put a STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) below the related ceiling panel(s).
(3) Remove the related ceiling panel(s) between FR24 and FR26 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) For the location of this component, refer to paragraph Component Location
(Ref. AMM D/O 46-41-00-00).
(2) Put a STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) below the related ceiling panel(s).
(3) Remove the related ceiling panel(s) between FR24 and FR26 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the cellular-gatelink antenna
(2) Disconnect the coaxial connector (10).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the screws (9).
(5) Remove the connector assembly (7) from the bracket (8).
(6) Hold the cellular-gatelink antenna (1) and remove the nut (4) and the lockwasher (3).
(7) Remove the cellular-gatelink antenna (1) from the bracket (2).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS:
- STAY ON A CONDUCTIVE SURFACE THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED.
- USE A CONDUCTIVE WRIST-STRAP THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED. (CONNECTED TO A BONDING-POINT NEAR THE WORK AREA).
- BEFORE YOU USE THE TOOLS, MOMENTARILY HOLD THEM AGAINST AN ELECTRICAL GROUND TO RELEASE STATIC ELECTRICITY.
CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE COMPONENT DURING THE PROCEDURE. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO COMPONENT.
(1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the coaxial connector (10).(2) Disconnect the coaxial connector (10).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the nuts (5), the washers (6) and the screws (9).
(5) Remove the connector assembly (7) from the bracket (8).
(6) Hold the cellular-gatelink antenna (1) and remove the nut (4) and the lockwasher (3).
(7) Remove the cellular-gatelink antenna (1) from the bracket (2).
