A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Access the ALNA Graphical User Interface (GUI) - Maintenance Access - via Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-610-811).

4. Procedure

A. Forced Load of the CINS platform software
NOTE: You can do this procedure at the Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) or on the LAPTOP - FOR GSM ALNA MAINTENANCE. The procedures at the MP-FAP and on the maintenance laptop are the same.
NOTE: The table that follows gives the procedure for the MP-FAP.

In the cabin, at the MP-FAP:
In the cabin, on the MP-FAP display:
1.Touch the "DATA LOADING" icon.
  • An hourglass symbol shows adjacent to the mouse cursor until the data comes into view.
  • The "DATA LOADING" page shows.
2.Select the "LRU Loading" tab.
  • The "LRU Loading" tab shows.
3.On the left upper corner touch on the arrow right to the hardware field.
  • A drop-down menu shows with all LRUs.
4.Touch the "HESU" icon.
  • The "Software loads for HESU" shows.
5.Touch the "CINS-SOFTWARE" icon.
  • The load becomes marked in blue and the install button becomes active.
6.Touch the "INSTALL" icon.
  • A pop-up window shows the message "Start software installation".
7.Touch the "OK" icon to confirm.
  • The "Software Installation" page shows.
  • The message "Please restart the ALNA System to finalize Software Loading. Update initialized" shows.
8.Touch the "OK" icon to confirm.
  • The message "Software installation was successful" shows.
9.Touch the "SYSTEM MONITORING" icon.
  • The "SYSTEM MONITORING" page shows.
10.Touch the "RESET" icon in the line HESU.
  • A pop-up window to confirm the reset shows.
11.Touch the "OK" icon.
  • The HESU restarts and installs the software.
NOTE: This will take approximately 25 minutes.

Subtask 46-41-00-862-061-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Touch the "LOGOFF" icon.
NOTE: It is not necessary to log off, if you continue with a different test procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
