A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Connect the maintenance laptop to the cabin plug (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-860-801).

4. Procedure
Subtask 46-41-00-720-073-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Download the Engineering Data to the USB flash drive with the Maintenance Laptop
NOTE: You can do this procedure on the LAPTOP - FOR GSM ALNA MAINTENANCE or at the Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP). The procedures on the maintenance laptop and at the MP-FAP are the same. The table that follows gives the procedure for the maintenance laptop.
NOTE: It is recommended to use a high speed USB flash drive 2.0 with a minimum capacity of 2GB.

In the cabin, at the maintenance laptop:
In the cabin, at the maintenance laptop:
1.Touch the "MISCELLANEOUS" icon.
  • The "MISCELLANEOUS" page shows.
2.Put the USB FLASH DRIVE, MIN. 2GB CAPACITY into the USB port of the maintenance laptop and wait one minute.

3.Touch the "EXPORT" icon.
  • The message "EXPORT OF ENGINEERING DATA WILL TAKE TYPICALLY 10 MINUTES WITH USB 2.0 DEVICE. CONTINUE?" shows.
4.Touch the "OK" icon.
  • The log file export starts and the pop-up window shows the progress.
5.Wait until the export is completed.
  • The pop-up window shows the message that the export is completed.
6.Remove the USB flash drive.

Subtask 46-41-00-862-155-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Shut down the maintenance laptop and disconnect it from the cabin plug.
NOTE: It is not necessary to shut down or disconnect the maintenance laptop, if you continue with a different procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
