A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Access the ALNA Graphical User Interface - Maintenance Access - via Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-610-811).

A. ALNA External Wiring Test
NOTE: You can do this procedure at the Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) or on the LAPTOP - FOR GSM ALNA MAINTENANCE. The procedures at the MP-FAP and on the maintenance laptop are the same. The table that follows gives the procedure for the MP-FAP.

In the cabin, at the MP-FAP:
In the cabin, on the MP-FAP display:
1.Touch the "SYSTEM TEST" icon.
  • The "SYSTEM TEST" page shows.
2.Select the "CONNECTIVITY EXTERNAL WIRING" tab at the head of the ALNA GUI.
  • The "CONNECTIVITY EXTERNAL WIRING" pages shows.
3.Touch the "ALNA External Wiring Test" and select the "START TEST" icon.
  • A new window shows with the message "Make sure that Avionic data is available".
4.Touch the "START" icon to start the test.
  • A test progress notification window appears.
5.Touch the "TEST RESULTS" icon.
  • The test results are shown.
6.Make sure that the results of all the tests are satisfactory.
NOTE: The failure message "FOMAX Ethernet test (B-KK)" can be ignored if the FOMAX equipment is not installed on the aircraft.

7.Touch the "NEXT" icon.
  • The step "Finish Test" is shown. Some "actions after testing" can be listed.
8.If "Actions after testing" are listed, do these actions.

9.Touch the "CLOSE" icon.

Subtask 46-41-00-862-153-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Touch the "LOGOFF" icon.
NOTE: It is not necessary to log off, if you continue with a different test procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
