A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Access the ALNA Graphical User Interface - Maintenance Access - via Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-610-811).
   (3) Make sure that:

Subtask 46-41-00-720-061-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
WARNING: DURING THE END-TO-END TEST OF THE ALNA SYSTEM, MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO PERSONS IN A RADIUS OF 29.2 METERS AROUND THE ANTENNA BORESIGHT. THE ANTENNA USES HIGH POWER WHEN IT TRANSMITS AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
A. Functional End-to-End Test for Internet
NOTE: You can do this test at the Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel or on the LAPTOP - FOR GSM ALNA MAINTENANCE. The procedures at the MP-FAP and on the maintenance laptop are the same.
NOTE: To do this procedure a client device with Wi-Fi adapter and web browser is needed, it could be a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
NOTE: The table that follows gives the procedure for the MP-FAP.

1.Touch the "SYSTEM TEST" icon.
  • The "SYSTEM TEST" pages comes into view.
2.Select the "CALIBRATION AND FUNCTION TEST" tab.
  • The "CALIBRATION AND FUNCTION TEST" tab shows.
3.Touch the line "FUNCTIONAL END-TO-END TEST".
  • The "FUNCTIONAL END-TO-END TEST" is marked in blue.
4.Touch the "START TEST" icon.
  • The "FUNCTIONAL END-TO-END TEST" page shows.
5.Touch the "ARROW DOWN" icon.
  • The drop-down menu shows.
6.Touch the "INTERNET" icon.
  • The "INTERNET TEST" page shows.
7.Touch the "START" icon.
  • After 3 minutes the start-up is completed.
  • The "TEST" icon becomes active.
8.Touch the "TEST" icon.
  • The message "THE INTENET SERVICE IS NOW AVAILABLE" shows.
In the cabin, at the passenger seat:
In the cabin, on the maintenance laptop:
9.Start the client device.
  • The client device boots.
10.Connect the client device to the Wi-Fi network.

11.Open the web browser.
  • The web browser window shows.
12.Enter the URL
"www.google.com".
  • The Start-Up page shows (http:// portal.inflight.onair.aero).

13.Touch the "NEXT" icon.
  • A pop-up window with the message "SHOULD THE TEST REALLY BE STOPPED" shows.
14.Touch the "YES" icon to confirm.
  • The message "SHUTDOWN COMPONENTS IN PROGRESS" shows.
  • The message "SHUTDOWN COMPLETE" shows and the "SHOW RESULTS" icon becomes active.
15.Touch the "SHOW RESULTS" icon.
  • The "RESULT" page shows.
16.Use the "ARROW" icons to scroll in the results list.
  • Make sure that the results of all tests are satisfactory.
17.Touch the "NEXT" icon.
  • The "POST CONDITION" page shows.
18.Touch the "CLOSE" icon.
  • The "CALIBRATION AND FUNCTION TEST" tab shows.

Subtask 46-41-00-862-103-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Touch the "LOGOFF" icon.
NOTE: It is not necessary to log off, if you continue with a different test procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
