3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Air Data/Inertial Reference-Units (ADIRUs) are ON and aligned (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
   (3) Make sure that the aircraft is outside the hangar, with line-of-sight to the satellite.
   (4) Access the ALNA Graphical User Interface - Maintenance Access - via Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-610-811).

A. System Monitoring Condition Check
NOTE: You can do this test at the Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) or on the LAPTOP - FOR GSM ALNA MAINTENANCE. The procedures at the MP-FAP and on the maintenance laptop are the same.
NOTE: The table that follows gives the procedure for the MP-FAP.

In the cabin, at the MP-FAP:
In the cabin, on the MP-FAP display:
1.Touch the "SYSTEM MONITORING" icon.
  • The "SYSTEM MONITORING" page shows.
2.Select the "OVERVIEW" tab.
  • Make sure that the Operational State of the HESU and CWLU shows in green.
3.Ignore the Operational State for the "EXTERNAL SYSTEMS" and the "SATELLITE SYSTEM".

5. Close-up
Subtask 46-41-00-860-066-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Touch the "LOGOFF" icon.
NOTE: It is not necessary to log off, if you continue with a different test procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
