A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
   (2) Access the ALNA Graphical User Interface (GUI) - Maintenance Access - via Multi-Purpose Flight-Attendant Panel (MP-FAP) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-610-811).
   (3) Connect the Maintenance Laptop to the Cabin Plug (Ref. AMM TASK 46-41-00-860-801).

A. Force Initial Load Installation (CFast-Card) on HESU
NOTE: You can do this procedure at the Multi-Purpose (MP-FAP) or on the LAPTOP - FOR ALNA MAINTENANCE. The procedures at the MP-FAP and on the maintenance laptop are the same.

NOTE: The table that follows gives the procedure for the MP-FAP.

In the cabin, at the MP-FAP:
In the cabin, on the MP-FAP display:
1.Touch the "MISCELLANEOUS" icon.
  • The "MISCELLANEOUS" page shows.
2.Touch the "INITIAL LOAD" icon in the line "INITIAL LOAD INSTALLATION (CFAST-CARD) ON HESU".
  • A pop-up window shows the message "WARNING: INSTALLING INITIAL LOAD CONFIGURATION ON HESU. DURATION APPROX 10 MINUTES".
3.Touch the "OK" icon to confirm.
  • The "MISCELLANEOUS" page shows.
  • A pop-up window shows the message "PLEASE RESTART THE ALNA SYSTEM TO FINALIZE SOFTWARE LOADING. UPDATE INITIALIZED".
4.Touch the "OK" icon to confirm.

5.Touch the "SYSTEM MONITORING" icon.
  • The "SYSTEM MONITORING" page shows.
6.Touch the "RESET" icon in the line HESU.
  • A pop-up window to confirm the reset shows.
7.Touch the "OK" icon to confirm.
  • The message "NO CONNECTION TO SERVER" shows.
  • The message "SYSTEM STARTING" shows.
  • The "SERVICE OVERVIEW" page shows.

NOTE: After the reset of the HESU you have to login again on ALNA GUI if you want to continue the maintenance.
5. Close-up
Subtask 46-41-00-862-140-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
   (2) Touch the "LOGOFF" icon.
NOTE: It is not necessary to log off, if you continue with a different test procedure.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
