4. Procedure
Subtask 46-26-34-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Laptop
(1) Start the laptop (Refer to the laptop user-guide) and close it.
(2) Put the laptop in the CAPT(F/O) EFB Laptop Docking Station (LDS).
(3) Connect the laptop to the cables that follow:

Video cable (optional)
USB cable
Ethernet cable
Power supply cable.

(4) Close the top of the CAPT(F/O) EFB LDS.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Test
(1) On the CAPT(F/O) EFB LDS control panel, push the DOCK STATION pushbutton switch.
(2) On the CAPT(F/O) EFB DU, get access to the EFB Monitoring Page (Refer to the EFB Monitoring Page User's Guide).

NOTE: The airline has also the possibility to customize and define its own way to start the EFB Monitoring Page. It can for example be integrated in the FlySmart with Airbus application suite or any other 3rd party application Framework.

(3) Make sure that all the items are OK.
(4) Make sure that the touchscreen is OK.

5. Close-up
Subtask 46-26-34-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Stop the Laptop
(1) From the CAPT(F/O) EFB DU touchscreen, stop the laptop.
(2) On the CAPT(F/O) LDS control panel, push the DOCK STATION pushbutton switch. The OFF legend of the DOCK STATION pushbutton switch goes off.

B. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
