1.Make sure that you started the 072-3175-001 FOMAX LMF or the 072-3175-003 FOMAX LMF or the 072-3175-004 FOMAX LMF on the maintenance electronic device that is connected to the FOMAX.

2.Record the Part Number (PN) of the software:
(Ref. AMM TASK 46-26-32-280-801).
3.On the LMF main page:
  • Select the "FOMAX Internal" button.
On the LMF:
  • The "FOMAX Internal" page comes into view.
4.On the LMF, on the "FOMAX Internal" page:
  • Select the "Conf" tab.
On the LMF:
  • The "Conf" page comes into view.
5.Record the PNs that follow:
  • Configuration PN
  • Airline Customization PN
  • Airbus Customization PN.
NOTE: You can use these PNs when you do the restore procedure.
6.On the LMF home page, make sure that the LED adjacent to the "FOMAX Internal" button is green.

7.On the LMF, on the "FOMAX Internal" page:
  • Select the "AL NFMS" button.
On the LMF:
  • The "AL NFMS" page comes into view.
8.On the "AL NFMS" page:
  • Do a check of the status of the "AL NFMS Entries" parameters.

9.On the "AL NFMS" page:
  • Select the "Backup" button.
NOTE: The "Used Capacity" parameter on the Airline NFMS page let you know the space necessary for the backup operation.
On the "AL NFMS" page:
  • The backup of the Airline NFMS data is in progress.

  • Select the "Conf" tab.
On the LMF:
  • The "Conf" page comes into view.
5.Record the PNs that follow:
  • Configuration PN
  • Airline Customization PN
  • Airbus Customization PN.
