NOTE: Purpose of this task is to recover 6 ISM files named ISM_FLASH_SYNC, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC1, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC2, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC3, SM_FLASH_ASYNC4, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC5.
NOTE: All 6 ISM files should be recovered regardless of the order.
NOTE: For each file to recover a configuration file named "002_1.lnr" should be used. The file name or contain should not be modified by the operator.
NOTE: A full ATSU downloading is approximately 45 minutes long.
Subtask 46-21-00-970-105-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Downloading of ATSU ISM files
(1) Insert in PDL a removable media (e.g USB key) with repositories containing the 0200_1.lnr files.
Or copy in PDL internal memory the different repositories and their contains (refer to the PDL user guide to perform this step).
(2) On PDL Select the following options :
(a) Select in PDL input the file 002_1.lnr located in repository which has the same name as the ISM file to recover.
(b) Start downloading operation (refer to PDL user guide).
(4) When all ISM files have been recovered go to step Stop of the ATSU ISM downloading procedure.
Subtask 46-21-00-860-175-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Insert in PDL a removable media (e.g USB key) with repositories containing the 0200_1.lnr files.
Or copy in PDL internal memory the different repositories and their contains (refer to the PDL user guide to perform this step).
(2) On PDL Select the following options :
- Downloading type : Media Defined Download operation
- Target system : ATSU
NOTE: Depending on used PDL model some supplementary parameters could be needed to be defined - Refer to the PDL user's guide to set all the parameters requested for a downloading.
(3) The following procedure should be followed to recover each ISM file (ISM_FLASH_SYNC, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC1, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC2, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC3, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC4, ISM_FLASH_ASYNC5). (a) Select in PDL input the file 002_1.lnr located in repository which has the same name as the ISM file to recover.
(b) Start downloading operation (refer to PDL user guide).
NOTE: The file recovered from ATSU can be stored in PDL internal memory or in removable media connected to PDL (e.g. USB key), depending on PDL capacities or operator preferencies.
(c) When the ISM file has been recovered go to step (3) in order to download next ISM file. (4) When all ISM files have been recovered go to step Stop of the ATSU ISM downloading procedure.
B. Stop of the ATSU ISM downloading procedure
(1) Stop the PDL (Refer to the portable data-loader user guide).
(2) Disconnect the cable between the PORTABLE DATA LOADER and connector 183VC located at the bottom of electronics rack 80VU.
5. Close-up(1) Stop the PDL (Refer to the portable data-loader user guide).
(2) Disconnect the cable between the PORTABLE DATA LOADER and connector 183VC located at the bottom of electronics rack 80VU.
NOTE: This cable disconnection will generate an ATSU restart.
(3) On cockpit make sure that the ATSU prompt comes into view on the MCDU MENU page. NOTE: Recovered ISM files should be provided to AIRBUS.
