C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
(2) Do the IR alignment procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
(3) Enter a flight number on the FMS Init Page.
(4) On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, turn the BRT knob to the middle position.

A. Check of the Operational Configuration for ATC Applications

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU: Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	On the MCDU: The MCDU MENU page comes into view
	On the MCDU MENU page: The ATSU prompt is shown.
2.On the MCDU MENU page: Push the line key adjacent to the ATSU indication.	On the MCDU: The ATSU DATALINK page comes into view.
3.On the ATSU DATALINK page: Push the line key adjacent to the ATC MENU indication.	On the MCDU: The ATC MENU page comes into view.
4.On the ATC MENU page: Push the line key adjacent to the NOTIFICATION indication.	On the MCDU: The NOTIFICATION page comes into view.
5.On the NOTIFICATION page: Make sure that the ATC flight number is shown below the ATC FLT NBR indication. NOTE: If the flight number is not shown, the NOTIFICATION UNAVAILABLE message is shown.
6.On the NOTIFICATION page: Push the line key adjacent to the ATC MENU RETURN indication.	On the MCDU: The ATC MENU page comes into view.
7.On the ATC MENU page: Push the line key adjacent to the CONNECTION STATUS indication.	On the MCDU: The CONNECTION STATUS page comes into view.
8.On the CONNECTION STATUS page: Push the line key adjacent to the ATC MENU RETURN indication.	On the MCDU: The ATC MENU page comes into view.
9.On the MCDU: Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MCDU MENU page is shown.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, set the BRT knob to OFF.
(2) Do the ADIRS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-005).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
