4. Procedure
CAUTION: IF YOU WANT TO UPLOAD THE ATSU SOFTWARE COMPONENTS FROM THE PDL, MAKE SURE THAT THESE SOFTWARE COMPONENTS ARE UPLOADED TO THE PDL. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS PRECAUTION, THERE IS A RISK OF FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE UPLOADING.
CAUTION: YOU MUST DO A CHECK OF THE INTEGRITY OF THE MEDIA USED FOR THE SOFTWARE UPLOADING. MAKE SURE THAT YOU CORRECTLY COPIED THE DIRECTORY WITH ALL THE HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS PRECAUTION, THERE IS A RISK OF FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE UPLOADING.
NOTE: If the PDL has the digital signature check, the PDL can send two messages: One if the PDL detects that the software is not signed (refer to PDL user guide). You can ignore this message, it has no effect on the aircraft software uploading. One if the PDL detects an incorrect or corrupted signature (refer to PDL user guide), then the software uploading will not be possible and it will be necessary to use a different software. For data security reasons, Airbus recommends the user to send a report of the fault to the aircraft-security focal point.
NOTE: If disks are used as an uploading media and more than one disk is necessary to do the uploading and if a transfer fault occurs, it is necessary to do the uploading from the start (disk 1) again.
