A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuit (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position at Zone 171.
   (2) Open the service panel 171AL.

C. Put the CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL) under the drain mast 14DU.

E. Fill the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001) with 50 l (13.2085 USgal) of water.
4. Procedure

A. Do this test.
NOTE: Make sure that the compressor does not leak.
ACTION
RESULT
1.In an aft lavatory:
  • operate the water faucet to release the pressure in the potable water system.
In the lavatory:
  • water flows into the wash basin.
  • the flow rate of the water decreases.
2.At the service panel 2023VU:
  • push and hold the limit switch 5MA.
In the air boost system:
  • the pressure switch 10MD closes.
  • the relay 9MD is energized.
  • the air compressor 8MD starts to operate.
  • the potable water system starts to pressurize.

In the lavatory:
  • the water flow increases.
3.At the service panel 2023VU:
  • release the limit switch 5MA.
In the air boost system:
  • the relay 9MD is de-energized.
  • the air compressor 8MD stops.

C. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the service panel 171AL.
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

D. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuit (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
