A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Depresurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).

C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to ON.
(4) Remove partition 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to ON.
(4) Remove partition 131PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-41-42-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Air Filter 4210MM

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).

(1) Loosen the connections (1) and (7).
(2) Remove the nuts (3), the washers (2) and the bolts (8).
(3) Remove the air filter assembly 4210MM (4).
(4) Remove the check valve 4205MM (6) from the air filter 4210MM (4).
(5) Remove and discard the O-ring (5).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.

B. Service the air filter 4210MM, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 38-41-00-610-001).
