A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-41-41-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Check Valve

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).

(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Select the applicable new packing (2):

(3) Install the packing (2) on the check valve (3).
(4) Install the check valve (3) in the air filter assembly (1).
(5) Install the tube assembly (5) as follows:
(a) Install the union (4) on the check valve (3).
(b) Install the union (4) on the pressure reducing valve (6).
(6) Tighten the unions (4).

Subtask 38-41-41-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Check Valve 4205MM

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).

(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends.
(2) Select the applicable new O-ring (2):

(3) Install the O-ring (2) on the valve (3).
(4) Install the valve (3) in the air filter assembly (1).
(5) Install the tube assembly (5).
(6) Tighten the unions (4).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Service the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).

(1) Do the leak check of the component (Ref. AMM TASK 38-41-00-790-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install partition 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to OFF.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).

Subtask 38-41-41-410-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install partition 131PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to OFF.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
