(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 38-41-00-480-051-A
B. Test Equipment
   (1) Attach the HOSE LENGTH 1,2 M (3,93 FT) - FLEXIBLE to the water faucet in a lavatory.
   (2) Put the other end of the hose into a CONTAINER 20L (5 USGAL).
   (3) Operate the water faucet until the flow rate of the water decreases.
Subtask 38-41-00-860-050-A
C. Preparation for Test
   (1) If necessary fill the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
   (2) Pressurize the aircraft pneumatic system (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-002).
4. Procedure
Subtask 38-41-00-710-051-A
A. Do this test.
ACTION
RESULT
1.In the aircraft pneumatic system:
  • the pneumatic cross-feed duct is pressurized.
In the potable-water air supply-system:
  • the shuttle valve 4215M shuts off the ground supply port.
  • the potable water tank 3000MM is pressurized.
2.In the lavatory:
  • operate the water faucet.
In the lavatory:
  • water flows from the hose into the container.
  • the flow rate of the water is normal.
5. Close-up
Subtask 38-41-00-410-052-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Depressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
   (2) If necessary fill the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
   (3) Remove the hose and the container from the lavatory.
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 38-41-00-862-053-A
