A. Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Put a AIR SOURCE 0.3 TO 0.7 BAR (5 TO 10 PSI)- FILTERED, DRY in position at the drain valve.
   (2) Install an applicable adaptor into the drain mast.
   (3) Attached the air source to the adaptor.

C. Get Access to the Blocked Sink
   (1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) under the drain valve (3).
   (2) Loosen the clamps (2) on the inlet hose (1) and outlet hose (4) of the drain valve (3).
   (3) Examine the drain valve (3) for blockage:
     (a) If the drain valve (3) is blocked, clean the drain valve (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-32-00-100-004).

D. Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the galley to tell persons not to use the galley.
4. Procedure

A. Clean the Waste Drain Lines
   (1) Put a cloth around the drain line to protect the area from unwanted matter that can come out of the line.
   (2) Operate the air compressed source and blow the lines through with 0.4 Bar (6.0psi) from the drain mast in the direction of the drain valve.
   (3) Put a cloth at the sink to protect the area from unwanted matter that can come out of the sink.
   (4) Operate the air compressed source and blow the lines through with 0.4 Bar (6.0psi) from the inlet line at the drain valve in the direction of the sink.
   (5) If necessary clean the waste water drain lines with vinegar (10% acetic acid solution) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-32-00-100-001).

A. Installation of the Drain Lines
   (1) Put the inlet hose (1) in position on the valve (3) and install the clamp (2).
   (2) Put the outlet hose (4) in position on the valve (3) and install the clamp (2).
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
