WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position below the vacuum-vent line outlet.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(4) Make sure that aft cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) Make sure that access panels 161DW and 162DW are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
Subtask 38-31-65-865-064-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position below the vacuum-vent line outlet.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at aft cargo-compartment door 826.
(4) Make sure that aft cargo-compartment door 826 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) Make sure that access panels 161DW and 162DW are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

A. Installation of the Vent Outlet
(1) Remove the vent outlet (5) from the BAG - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Make sure that the clamps (6) are in position on the vacuum vent line (8).
(5) Put the vent outlet (5) in its installation position and connect it to the vacuum vent line (8).
(6) Install the vent outlet (5) with the screws (4).
(7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (4).
(8) Tighten the clamps (6).
(9) Install the bonding lead (7) with the washer (3), the screw (2) and the nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to:
Subtask 38-31-65-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the vent outlet (5) from the BAG - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Make sure that the clamps (6) are in position on the vacuum vent line (8).
(5) Put the vent outlet (5) in its installation position and connect it to the vacuum vent line (8).
(6) Install the vent outlet (5) with the screws (4).
(7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (4).
(8) Tighten the clamps (6).
(9) Install the bonding lead (7) with the washer (3), the screw (2) and the nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to:
- The vent outlet base-plate and inner structure
- The gap between the skin and the base plate.
A. Installation of the Vent Outlet
(1) Remove the vent outlet (5) from the BAG - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Make sure that the clamps (6) are in position on the vacuum vent line (8).
(5) Put the vent outlet (5) in its installation position and connect it to the vacuum vent line (8).
(6) Install the vent outlet (5) with the new screws (4).
(7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to the screws (4).
(8) Tighten the clamps (6).
(9) Install the bonding lead (7) with the new washer (3), new screw (2) and new nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the vent outlet base, nut plates and the screws (4).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the vent outlet base-plate and inner structure.
(12) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the gap between the skin and the base plate.
Subtask 38-31-65-865-065-A (1) Remove the vent outlet (5) from the BAG - PLASTIC.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Make sure that the clamps (6) are in position on the vacuum vent line (8).
(5) Put the vent outlet (5) in its installation position and connect it to the vacuum vent line (8).
(6) Install the vent outlet (5) with the new screws (4).
(7) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to the screws (4).
(8) Tighten the clamps (6).
(9) Install the bonding lead (7) with the new washer (3), new screw (2) and new nut (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(10) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the vent outlet base, nut plates and the screws (4).
(11) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the vent outlet base-plate and inner structure.
(12) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the gap between the skin and the base plate.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access panels 161DW and 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(3) Close aft cargo-compartment door 826 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 38-31-65-862-051-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access panels 161DW and 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
