Airbus recommends that you use this task for the removal of the liquid level sensor. You can use the alternative task 383163 000 00200, which does not include the leak test, but Airbus cannot guarantee a fully satisfactory result.

Removal of the Liquid Level Sensor
WARNING:
DO NOT DO WORK ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM AND THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. SUCH CONTAMINATION CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.
WARNING:
ALWAYS USE RUBBER GLOVES WHEN YOU DO WORK:
- ON THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM, OR
- ON PARTS THAT HAVE CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE SYSTEM.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU REMOVE A COMPONENT OF THE TOILET WASTE SYSTEM, ALWAYS DISINFECT THE PART BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG, THEN SEAL THE BAG.
DO NOT PUT DOCUMENTS INTO THE PLASTIC BAG. SEAL THE BAG FIRST,THEN ATTACH THE DOCUMENTS TO IT.
THIS WILL PREVENT INFECTION OR ILLNESS. CONTAMINATION FROM THE WASTE CAN BE DANGEROUS TO HEALTH.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to ON.
(4) Remove partitions 161DW and 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
Subtask 38-31-63-680-050-A (1) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to ON.
(4) Remove partitions 161DW and 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
C. Draining, Flushing and Disinfection of the waste System
(1) Drain and flush the waste tank (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-680-001).
(2) Put 2. l (0.5283 USgal) of Deodorant-Aircraft Toilets - - (Material No.11GCA1) in each toilet bowl and flush them through.

(2) Put 2. l (0.5283 USgal) of Deodorant-Aircraft Toilets - - (Material No.11GCA1) in each toilet bowl and flush them through.
NOTE: This procedure is to make sure that the full toilet system is disinfected.
D. Do the leak test of the vacuum toilet system and record the result of the test (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-790-002).

A. Removal of Liquid Level Sensor 41MG
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the nuts (6) and the washers (5).
(5) Remove liquid level sensor 41MG (3).
(6) Remove the packing (4) and discard it.
(7) If you use the removed parts again, clean and disinfect them (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-510-001).
Subtask 38-31-63-020-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
ALWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHES WHEN YOU DO THIS TASK.
(1) If the insulation is installed around liquid level sensor 41MG (3), remove it.CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Disconnect electrical connector 41MG-A (2). (3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the nuts (6) and the washers (5).
(5) Remove liquid level sensor 41MG (3).
(6) Remove the packing (4) and discard it.
(7) If you use the removed parts again, clean and disinfect them (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-510-001).

(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screws (6) and the washers (5).
(5) Remove liquid level sensor 41MG (3).
(6) Remove the packing (4) and discard it.
(7) If you use the removed parts again, clean and disinfect them (Ref. AMM TASK 38-30-00-510-001).
WARNING:
ALWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHES WHEN YOU DO THIS TASK.
