C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below the waste service door.
(2) Open waste service door 172AR.
(3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the toilets.
(4) Open the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(5) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(6) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU to ON.
(7) Remove partition 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-31-13-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Waste Service-Panel Door-Switch 44MG
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 44MG-A (1).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

(3) Remove and discard the lockwire from the nut (4).
(4) Remove the nut (4) and the washer (3).
(5) Remove the switch (2).
