A. Do this test.
NOTE: Make sure that the access panel 172AR is closed or the limit switch 44MG is pushed and hold in during the test.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the altitude pressure switch 43MG:
  • set the altitude to 15250 ft. (4648.11 m).

2.In all lavatories:
  • push each flush switch 51MG with a time delay of 15 +3 -3 s.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG starts to operate.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl.
  • air flows out of the ventilation port of the vacuum generator.
  • the toilet flush valve opens and the suction removes the water.
3.In two lavatories:
  • push the flush switches 51MG at the same time.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG starts to operate.
  • air flows out of the ventilation port of the vacuum generator.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl of both toilets.
  • the flush valves of the both toilets open and the suction removes the water.
4.In a lavatory:
  • push the flush switch 51MG.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG starts to operate.
  • air flows out of the ventilation port of the vacuum generator.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl.
  • the toilet flush valve opens and the suction removes the water.
  • within 10 s after the flush cycle starts, push the flush switch 51MG in the same lavatory again.
  • the vacuum generator continues to operate (first flush cycle not finished).
  • a second or additional flush cycle does not start.
  • the next flush cycle sequence is prevented for approx. 15 s after the first flush cycle starts.
  • In a different lavatory:
  • push the flush switch 51MG within these 10 s.
The flush cycle starts immediately.
5.On the altitude pressure switch 43MG:
  • set the altitude to 16000 +700 ft. or -700 ft. (4876.71 +213.36 m or -213.36 m).

6.In one lavatory:
  • push the flush switch 51MG.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG will not operate.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl.
  • the toilet flush valve opens and the water drains out of the toilet bowl.
7.On the altitude pressure switch 43MG:
  • set the altitude to 12000 ft. (3657.53 m).

8.In a different lavatory:
  • push the flush switch 51MG.
In the vacuum toilet system:
  • the vacuum generator 37MG starts to operate.
  • approx. 0.2 l (0.05 USgal) of water flows into the toilet bowl.
  • air flows out of the ventilation port of the vacuum generator.
  • the toilet flush valve opens and the suction removes the water.
