B. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to use the toilets.

C. Drain/Flush and Disinfect the Waste System
(1) Drain and flush the waste holding tank (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-680-001).
(2) Disinfect the waste system:
(a) Put 2 l (0.528 USgal) of Deodorant-Aircraft Toilets - - (Material No.11GCA1) in each toilet bowl and flush them through.
Subtask 38-31-00-010-088-A (1) Drain and flush the waste holding tank (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-680-001).
(2) Disinfect the waste system:
(a) Put 2 l (0.528 USgal) of Deodorant-Aircraft Toilets - - (Material No.11GCA1) in each toilet bowl and flush them through.
NOTE: This is to make sure that the full toilet system is disinfected.
D. Get Access
(1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove access panels 161DW and 162DW.
(3) Remove the nut (9), the washer (8), the screw (7) and the spacer (6).
(4) Remove the clamp (5).
(5) Disconnect the connections (4) and (11).
(6) Remove the LLT reference line (1).
4. Procedure(1) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Remove access panels 161DW and 162DW.
(3) Remove the nut (9), the washer (8), the screw (7) and the spacer (6).
(4) Remove the clamp (5).
(5) Disconnect the connections (4) and (11).
(6) Remove the LLT reference line (1).

A. Cleaning of the LLT Reference Line
(1) Prepare the water cleaner solution at between 30 deg.C (86 deg.F) and 40 deg.C (104 deg.F) with:
(a) 5% acetic vinegar solution, or
(b) 2 l (0.53 USgal) of water and 1 l (0.26 USgal) of Aqueous Cleaner-Toilet System Preventive De-scaling - (Material No.08AHB1) .
(2) Soak the LLT reference line (1) in the water cleaner solution for a maximum of 2 hours.
(3) Connect a WATER SOURCE - GROUND (with maximum of 2 bar (29 psi)) to the LLT reference line (1) and flush the line between 3 and 5 minutes.
(4) Dry the LLT reference line (1) with a BLOWING EQUIPMENT - DRY AIR.
(5) Do an inspection of the overboard vent line (2) that includes the interface between the overboard vent line (2) and the tube assembly (12).
(6) If there is contamination between the overboard vent line (2) and the tube assembly (12):
(a) Clean the interfaces manually with a Article-- Pipe cleaner - (Material No.14TAD1) .
(7) If there is contamination in the overboard vent line (2), remove the overboard vent line (2) and clean it in the shop.
(9) If necessary, clean the interfaces between the diaphragm (3) of the LLT (10) and the LLT reference line (1):
(a) Clean the interfaces manually with a Article-- Pipe cleaner - (Material No.14TAD1) .
5. Close-up(1) Prepare the water cleaner solution at between 30 deg.C (86 deg.F) and 40 deg.C (104 deg.F) with:
(a) 5% acetic vinegar solution, or
(b) 2 l (0.53 USgal) of water and 1 l (0.26 USgal) of Aqueous Cleaner-Toilet System Preventive De-scaling - (Material No.08AHB1) .
(2) Soak the LLT reference line (1) in the water cleaner solution for a maximum of 2 hours.
(3) Connect a WATER SOURCE - GROUND (with maximum of 2 bar (29 psi)) to the LLT reference line (1) and flush the line between 3 and 5 minutes.
(4) Dry the LLT reference line (1) with a BLOWING EQUIPMENT - DRY AIR.
(5) Do an inspection of the overboard vent line (2) that includes the interface between the overboard vent line (2) and the tube assembly (12).
(6) If there is contamination between the overboard vent line (2) and the tube assembly (12):
(a) Clean the interfaces manually with a Article-- Pipe cleaner - (Material No.14TAD1) .
(7) If there is contamination in the overboard vent line (2), remove the overboard vent line (2) and clean it in the shop.
NOTE: Step (7) is necessary to prevent contamination of the LLT reference line (1) again.
(8) Do an inspection of the interfaces between the diaphragm (3) of the LLT (10) and the LLT reference line (1). (9) If necessary, clean the interfaces between the diaphragm (3) of the LLT (10) and the LLT reference line (1):
(a) Clean the interfaces manually with a Article-- Pipe cleaner - (Material No.14TAD1) .
Subtask 38-31-00-410-090-A
A. Close Access
(1) Put the LLT reference line (1) in position.
(2) Connect the connections (4) and (11) but do not tighten at this time.
(3) Put the clamp (5) in position and install the spacer (6), the screw (7), the washer (8) and the nut (9).
(4) Tighten the connections (4) and (11).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Install access panels 161DW and 162DW.
Subtask 38-31-00-613-068-A Subtask 38-31-00-942-069-A (1) Put the LLT reference line (1) in position.
(2) Connect the connections (4) and (11) but do not tighten at this time.
(3) Put the clamp (5) in position and install the spacer (6), the screw (7), the washer (8) and the nut (9).
(4) Tighten the connections (4) and (11).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Install access panels 161DW and 162DW.
C. Remove the warning notices.
