F Fill/Drain Valve ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the AFT cargo-compartment door.
   (2) Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
   (3) Remove the access panels 161DW 162DW.
   (4) Remove the insulation (8) and (9) from around the fill/drain valve 16MA.
4. Procedure
Subtask 38-14-46-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of Fill/Drain Valve 16MA
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector 16MA-A (7).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Disconnect the pipes (1), (6) and (14) from the fill/drain valve 16MA (2).
   (4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (5) Remove and discard the cotter pin (10).
   (6) Remove the pin (13) and the washers (11).
   (7) Disconnect the control cable (12) from the lever of the fill/drain valve 16MA (2).
   (8) Remove the bolts (3), the washers (4) and the spacers (5) together with the fill/drain valve 16MA (2).
