D. Get Access
F Drain Valve (14MP) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
   (2) Open FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Set CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to ON position.
   (4) Remove access panel 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
   (5) Open the insulation sleeve (12).
4. Procedure
Subtask 38-14-45-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Drain Valve Assembly
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR IS CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT IT. DIRTY ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE THRUST REVERSER PROBLEMS.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (7) from the drain valve assembly (6).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Disconnect the hose (2) and the pipe (5).
   (4) Remove and discard the cotter pin (11) and remove the washer (10).
   (5) Remove the pin (9) and disconnect the linkage (8).
   (6) Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (3).
   (7) Remove the drain valve assembly (6) and the spacers (1).
   (8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (9) If necessary, remove the insulation sleeve (12).
