D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the AFT cargo-compartment door.
(2) Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Open the access panels 161DW 162DW.

4. Procedure
Subtask 38-14-43-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Motorized Fill/Overflow-Drain Valve 8MA
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector 8MA-A (3).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Disconnect the distribution lines.
(a) Disconnect the overflow line connectors (1) and (15).
(b) Disconnect the fill/drain line connectors (2) and (14).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(5) Removal of the control cable.
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (6).
(b) Remove the pin (9) the washers (10) and the washer (7).
(c) Remove the control cable (8) from the lever of the motorized fill/overflow-drain valve 8MA (18).
(6) Removal of the bonding strap.
(a) Remove the nut (11) and the screw (13).
(b) Remove the bonding strap (12).
(7) Remove the bolts (16), the washers (17), the washers (4) and the nuts (5).
(8) Remove the fill/overflow-drain valve 8MA (18).
