A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is set to ON.
(5) Make sure that partitions 161DW and 162DW are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
Subtask 38-13-11-860-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the aft cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 8LU is set to ON.
(5) Make sure that partitions 161DW and 162DW are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) In the cabin, make sure that the right passenger seats from frame 35 to frame 36 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).
(3) Make sure that the right textile-floor covering from frame 35 to frame 36 is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-28-41-000-001).
(4) Make sure that floor panel 242CF is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-000-002).
Subtask 38-13-11-860-051-J ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) In the cabin, make sure that the right passenger seats from frame 35 to frame 36 are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-21-41-000-001).

(4) Make sure that floor panel 242CF is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-32-12-000-002).

(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the bulk cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 18LU is set to ON.
(5) Make sure that partitions 161DW and 162DW are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
Subtask 38-13-11-865-054-A (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized

(2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).

Subtask 38-13-11-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Quantity Transmitter 3MA
(1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 PACKING (2) on the transmitter.
(2) Remove the blanking plug from the potable water tank.
(3) Install the quantity transmitter (1) into the potable water tank.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(5) Turn the potable water tank into position.
(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Connect all the connections and the attachment clamps (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the quantity transmitter (1).
Subtask 38-13-11-420-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 PACKING (2) on the transmitter.
(2) Remove the blanking plug from the potable water tank.
(3) Install the quantity transmitter (1) into the potable water tank.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(5) Turn the potable water tank into position.
(6) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(7) Connect all the connections and the attachment clamps (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the quantity transmitter (1).
A. Installation of the Quantity Transmitter 3MA
(1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 PACKING (2) on the transmitter.
(2) Remove the blanking plug from the potable water tank (6).
(3) Install the quantity transmitter (1) into the potable water tank.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the quantity transmitter (1).
Subtask 38-13-11-420-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 PACKING (2) on the transmitter.
(2) Remove the blanking plug from the potable water tank (6).
(3) Install the quantity transmitter (1) into the potable water tank.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the quantity transmitter (1).
A. Installation of the Quantity Transmitter
(1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 GASKET (5) on the quantity transmitter (4).
(2) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the potable water tank (6).
(3) Put the quantity transmitter (4) in its correct installation position.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (2).
(5) Tighten the nuts (2).
(6) Turn the potable water tank (6) back to its correct position.
(7) Install the connections and attach the clamps to the potable water tank (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
Subtask 38-13-11-860-050-A (1) Install a new AIPC 38-13-11-06-010 GASKET (5) on the quantity transmitter (4).
(2) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the potable water tank (6).
(3) Put the quantity transmitter (4) in its correct installation position.
(4) Install the washers (3) and the nuts (2).
(5) Tighten the nuts (2).
(6) Turn the potable water tank (6) back to its correct position.
(7) Install the connections and attach the clamps to the potable water tank (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU CONNECT THEM. SOLID AND/OR LIQUID CONTAMINATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the quantity transmitter (4). B. Preparation for Test
(1) Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Fill and service the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(5) Examine the water tank for leaks, leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 38-13-11-865-053-A (1) Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Fill and service the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(5) Examine the water tank for leaks, leaks are not permitted.
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(5) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).

Removal/Installation of the Quantity Transmitter 3MA
