Subtask 38-12-41-860-071-A
A. Preparation before Installation
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
   (1) Put the nozzle assemblies in vinegar (10% acetic acid solution) or 10% citric acid solution to remove the unwanted material.
NOTE: Airbus recommends that you use a non-metallic stiff-bristled brush to remove the material if necessary.
   (2) Clean the nozzle assemblies with clean water.
   (3) Dry the nozzle assemblies and clean them in alcohol (minimum 70%):
     (a) Make sure that the alcohol reacts with the surfaces for a minimum of 5 minutes.
     (b) Let the compound dry.
     (c) As an alternative, use disinfectants ELSIL 3% H2O2 (966300), HERLISIL (966500), H Bio T50 (966400) or SANOSIL (966200):
1 Make sure that the concentration of H2O2 in these disinfectants is decreased to 3%.
2 Spray the disinfectant from a maximum distance of approximately 10 cm.
3 Make sure that the disinfectant reacts with the surfaces for a minimum of 5 minutes.
4 Install the components while they are wet with the disinfectant.

B. Installation of the Nozzle Assembly
NOTE: The procedure for the installation of the nozzle assembly is the same for all the lavatories.
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Install the washer (2) onto the nozzle (3).
   (4) Use Disinfectant-Potable Water System - Legacy (Material No.11AKG9) to clean the 90104701 KEY (4) and the water faucet outlet (1):
     (a) Spray the disinfectant from a maximum distance of approximately 10 cm.
     (b) Make sure that the disinfectant reacts with the surfaces for a minimum of 5 minutes.
     (c) Install the components while they are wet with the disinfectant.
   (5) Use the 90104701 KEY (4) to install the nozzle assembly (5) in the water faucet outlet (1).
