(3) Disconnect the aircraft water-inlet-hose fittings (3) and (4) from the hydraulic box (1) and remove the inline filters (2).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the lining (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-26-000-001).

NOTE: Only necessary, if the electronic water faucet is installed.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Install the hoses on the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(2) Put the containers below the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3) Put the ends of the hoses into the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL).
(4) Release the pressure from the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(5) In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.
(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the related connections.
Subtask 38-12-41-941-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the hoses on the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(2) Put the containers below the drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3) Put the ends of the hoses into the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL).
(4) Release the pressure from the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(5) In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.
(6) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the related connections.
E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to open the potable-water shutoff valve in the lavatory.

WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT YOU USE FOR THIS PROCEDURE IS CLEAN AND APPROVED FOR THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM. IF NOT IT CAN CAUSE CONTAMINATION OF THE POTABLE WATER SYSTEM.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE WATER TANK IS DEPRESSURIZED.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE WATER HEATER UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
A. Removal of the Inline Filters NOTE: This procedure is the same for all of the lavatories which have the electronic water faucet.
(1) Make match marks on the items. NOTE: To prevent errors on the assembly, it is necessary to put marks on the parts before you disassemble them.
(2) Make sure that there is no pressure in the potable water line. (3) Disconnect the aircraft water-inlet-hose fittings (3) and (4) from the hydraulic box (1) and remove the inline filters (2).
(4) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
