Removal of the Nozzle Assembly

NOTE: This is an alternative task to remove the nozzle assembly with a different tool.

B. Get Access
(1) Install the hoses on drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(2) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) below drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3) Put the ends of the hoses into the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL).
(4) In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.
(5) In the lavatory, operate the water faucet until no more water flows into the washbasin.
Subtask 38-12-41-865-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the hoses on drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(2) Put a CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL) below drain masts 4DU and 14DU.
(3) Put the ends of the hoses into the CONTAINER 10 L(2 1/2 USGAL).
(4) In the lavatory, turn the potable-water shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.
(5) In the lavatory, operate the water faucet until no more water flows into the washbasin.

A. Removal of the Nozzle Assembly
(2) Use a 90104701 KEY (4) to remove the nozzle assembly (5) from the water faucet outlet (1).
(3) Remove the washer (2) from the nozzle (3).
NOTE: The procedure for the removal of the nozzle assembly is the same for all the lavatories.
(1) Make marks on items before you disassemble them to prevent errors when you assemble them. (2) Use a 90104701 KEY (4) to remove the nozzle assembly (5) from the water faucet outlet (1).
(3) Remove the washer (2) from the nozzle (3).
