A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 38-12-14-865-054-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the potable water system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-002).
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

A. Local Disinfection
(1) Do the local disinfection of the potable-water system components (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-670-805).

B. Installation of the Shutoff Valve (12)
(1) If removed install the control rod (2).
(a) Put the bracket (3) in position on the lavatory (15).
(b) Install the counter sink screws (1) the washers (14) and the nuts (13).
(2) If removed, install the bracket (9) to the shutoff valve (12) with the washers (10) and the screws (11).
(3) Put the brackets (9) and (6) and the shutoff valve (12) in position against the structure (7).
(4) Make sure that the control lever (2) is in position on the shutoff valve (12).
(5) Install the counter sink washers (5) and the counter sink screws (4).
(6) Connect the connections (8).
Subtask 38-12-14-865-055-A (1) If removed install the control rod (2).
(a) Put the bracket (3) in position on the lavatory (15).
(b) Install the counter sink screws (1) the washers (14) and the nuts (13).
(2) If removed, install the bracket (9) to the shutoff valve (12) with the washers (10) and the screws (11).
(3) Put the brackets (9) and (6) and the shutoff valve (12) in position against the structure (7).
(4) Make sure that the control lever (2) is in position on the shutoff valve (12).
(5) Install the counter sink washers (5) and the counter sink screws (4).
(6) Connect the connections (8).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Leak check
(1) If necessary fill the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(2) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure the shutoff valve (12) is in the OPEN position.
(4) Examine the shutoff valve (12) for leaks.
Subtask 38-12-14-410-051-C (1) If necessary fill the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001).
(2) Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure the shutoff valve (12) is in the OPEN position.
(4) Examine the shutoff valve (12) for leaks.
NOTE: No leaks are permitted.
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Install the toilet shroud (Ref. AMM TASK 25-45-22-400-001).
(4) Close the sanitary cabinet door.
(5) Close the door of lavatory.
