D. Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-003).
4. ProcedureSubtask 38-12-00-820-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Water Flow Time of the Water Faucet
(1) Make sure that the water nozzle is clean and not calcified before you do this task.
(2) Set the water-faucet temperature control to the central position before you adjust the water flow time.
(3) Remove the knob (3):
(a) Remove the cover (1) from the screw (2).
(b) Loosen and remove the screw (2) with a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL from the knob (3).
(c) Remove the knob (3) from the water faucet (4).
(4) Use a SCREWDRIVER - FLAT HEAD and adjust the water flow time as follows:
(a) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) clockwise to decrease the water flow time.
(b) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) counterclockwise to increase the water flow time.
(5) Operate the water faucet (4).
(6) Use a STOPWATCH and make sure that the water flows for between 3 and 16 seconds.
(8) Do the procedure again if the water flow time is not satisfactory.
(9) Install the knob (3):
(a) Put the knob (3) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (2) with WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
(c) Install the cover (1).

(a) Remove the cover (1) from the screw (2).
(b) Loosen and remove the screw (2) with a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL from the knob (3).
(c) Remove the knob (3) from the water faucet (4).
(4) Use a SCREWDRIVER - FLAT HEAD and adjust the water flow time as follows:
(a) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) clockwise to decrease the water flow time.
(b) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) counterclockwise to increase the water flow time.
(5) Operate the water faucet (4).
(6) Use a STOPWATCH and make sure that the water flows for between 3 and 16 seconds.
NOTE: The water pressure and the temperature can have an effect on the water flow time of the water faucet. The colder the water, the longer is the flow time.
(7) Make sure that the water flow time of the water faucet is not more than 16 seconds. (8) Do the procedure again if the water flow time is not satisfactory.
(9) Install the knob (3):
(a) Put the knob (3) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (2) with WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
(c) Install the cover (1).

(4) Use a SCREWDRIVER - FLAT HEAD and adjust the water-flow time as follows:
(a) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) clockwise to decrease the flow time.
(b) Turn the adjusting screw in the water faucet (4) counterclockwise to increase the flow time.
(5) Operate the water faucet (4).
(6) Use a STOPWATCH and make sure that the water flows for between 4 and 6 seconds.
(8) Do the procedure again if the flow time is not satisfactory.
(9) Install the knob (3):
(a) Put the knob (3) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (2) with WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
(c) Install the cover (1).

(6) Use a STOPWATCH and make sure that the water flows for between 4 and 6 seconds.
NOTE: The water pressure and the temperature can have an effect on the water flow time of the water faucet. The colder the water, the longer is the flow time.
(7) Make sure that the water flow time of the water faucet is not more than 6 seconds. (8) Do the procedure again if the flow time is not satisfactory.
(9) Install the knob (3):
(a) Put the knob (3) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (2) with WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
(c) Install the cover (1).
B. Adjustment of the Water Flow Time of the Water faucet
(1) Make sure that the water nozzle is clean and not calcified before you do this task.
(2) Set the water-faucet temperature control to the central position before you adjust the water flow time.
(3) Remove the push-cap (2):
(a) Loosen and remove the setscrew (3) from the push-cap (2).
(b) Remove the push-cap (2) from the water faucet assembly (1).
(4) Adjust the water flow time as follows:
(a) Use a SCREWDRIVER - FLAT HEAD to adjust the water flow time:
(a) Push the pushbutton guide (4) and use a STOPWATCH to measure the water flow time.
(b) Make sure that the water flows between 3 and 16 seconds.
(6) Do the procedure again if the water flow time is not satisfactory.
(7) Install the push-cap (2):
(a) Put the push-cap (2) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (3).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the water nozzle is clean and not calcified before you do this task.
NOTE: The pre-adjusted water flow time of the water faucet is 10 +2 -2 seconds.

(2) Set the water-faucet temperature control to the central position before you adjust the water flow time.
(3) Remove the push-cap (2):

(b) Remove the push-cap (2) from the water faucet assembly (1).
(4) Adjust the water flow time as follows:
(a) Use a SCREWDRIVER - FLAT HEAD to adjust the water flow time:
- Turn the control needle in the water faucet assembly (1) clockwise to decrease the water flow time.
- Turn the control needle in the water faucet assembly (1) counterclockwise to increase the water flow time.
(a) Push the pushbutton guide (4) and use a STOPWATCH to measure the water flow time.
(b) Make sure that the water flows between 3 and 16 seconds.
NOTE: The water pressure and the temperature can have an effect on the water flow time of the water faucet.
(c) Make sure that the water flow time of the water faucet is not more than 16 seconds. (6) Do the procedure again if the water flow time is not satisfactory.
(7) Install the push-cap (2):
(a) Put the push-cap (2) in its installation position.
(b) Install and tighten the screw (3).
