A. Deactivation of the Water Faucet
(1) Turn the potable-water shutoff valve to the SHUT position:

The water supply stops to the water faucet and the toilet assembly.

NOTE: The toilet assembly is unserviceable at this time.

B. Pressurize the potable water system (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-00-614-003).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Close and lock the lavatory door.
(a) Put a PLACARD in position to tell persons that the lavatory is unserviceable.
(2) Make an entry in the logbook to record that the lavatory is isolated.

C. De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
