(1) Extend the slats fully (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
(2) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever on panel 114VU.

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panels:
(a) FOR [25HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP A), [52HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP B)
remove 522EB 522FB
(b) FOR [41HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP A), [68HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP B)
remove 622EB 622FB.

4. Procedure
Subtask 36-22-16-020-056-A

A. Removal of the Cables

CAUTION: MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

(1) Remove the bolts (35) and the clamps (33) from the applicable cable (15) or (16).
(2) Remove the applicable cable (15) or (16) from the electrical raceway.
(3) Cut the electrical cable (15) or (16) at the in-line splice connector.
(a) For the cable 25HF:

at the connector 4013VS in route 1S.

(b) For the cable 41HF:

at the connector 4012VS in route 1S.

at the connector 4021VS in route 2S.

(d) For the cable 68HF:

at the connector 4020VS in route 2S.

(4) Remove and discard the lockwire from the connectors (19), (23) and (24) and the nut (20).
(5) For the cables 25HF(41HF):

disconnect the connector (24) from the connector (22).

(6) For the cables 52HF(68HF):

disconnect the connector (19) from the connector (23)
remove the nut (20) from the connector (23)
remove the connector (23) from the flanged attachment (21).

(7) Remove the applicable cable assembly (15) or (16).
(8) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected connectors.
