Removal of the Cables
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

(2) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION on the flap/slat control lever on panel 114VU.

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004):
(a) FOR [24HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP A), [51HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP B)

(b) FOR [40HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP A), [67HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP B)
remove 622AB.
Subtask 36-22-16-010-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004):

D. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panel(s):
(a) FOR [24HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP A), [51HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP B)
(b) FOR [40HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP A), [67HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP B)
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panel(s):
(a) FOR [24HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP A), [51HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, L WING LOOP B)
(b) FOR [40HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP A), [67HF] (CABLE-CONNECTING, R WING LOOP B)

A. Removal of the Cables
(2) Remove the applicable cable (13) or (18) from the electrical raceway.
(3) Cut the applicable electrical cable (13) or (18) at the in-line splice connector.
(a) For the cable 24HF:
(5) For the cable 24HF(40HF):
(a) Disconnect the connector (19) from the connector (23).
(b) Remove the nut (20) from the connector (23).
(c) Remove the connector (23) from the flanged attachment (21).
(6) For the cable 51HF(67HF):
(a) Disconnect the connector (24) from the connector (22).
(7) Remove the applicable cable (13) or (18).
(8) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected connectors.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Remove the bolts (32) and the clamps (31) from the cable (13) or (18). (2) Remove the applicable cable (13) or (18) from the electrical raceway.
(3) Cut the applicable electrical cable (13) or (18) at the in-line splice connector.
(a) For the cable 24HF:
- at the connector 4015VS in route 1S.
- at the connector 4014VS in route 1S.
- at the connector 4023VS in route 2S.
- at the connector 4022VS in route 2S.
(5) For the cable 24HF(40HF):
(a) Disconnect the connector (19) from the connector (23).
(b) Remove the nut (20) from the connector (23).
(c) Remove the connector (23) from the flanged attachment (21).
(6) For the cable 51HF(67HF):
(a) Disconnect the connector (24) from the connector (22).
(7) Remove the applicable cable (13) or (18).
(8) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected connectors.
