A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position:

in the cockpit on the Engine Control Panel 115VU to tell persons not to start the engine(s),
in the cockpit on the AIR COND Overhead Control Panel 30VU to tell persons not to push in the APU BLEED pushbutton switch.

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access panel 191BB.
(3) Make sure that the access panel 191BB is open.

A. Installation of the HP Ground Connector
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking cap from the duct.
(4) Install the O-ring (4) and the check valve (5) in the HP Ground Connector (3).
(5) Install the sealing ring (6) and the HP Ground Connector (3) with four washers (2) and the AIPC 36-11-03-22-060 NUT (1) at the long bolts and with one washer (2) and the AIPC 36-11-03-22-060 NUT (1) at the short bolts.
(6) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

A. Installation of the HP Ground Connector
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking cap from the duct.
(4) Install the O-ring (4) and the check valve (5) in the HP Ground Connector (3).
(5) Install the sealing ring (6) and the HP Ground Connector (3) with eight washers (2) and AIPC 36-11-03-22-060 NUT (1).
(6) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.8 and 0.7 m.daN (70.80 and 61.95 lbf.in )

Subtask 36-13-41-420-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the HP Ground Connector
(1) Remove the blanking cap from the duct.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the O-ring (4) in position between the check valve (5) and the the HP Ground Connector (3).
(5) Put the HP Ground Connector (3), together with the O-ring (4) and the check valve (5) on the sealing ring (6), and connect these items on the open duct.
(6) Install the washers (2) and the AIPC 36-11-03-22-060 NUT (1) on the duct.

NOTE: Four washers must be installed at long bolts, only one washer at the short bolts.

(7) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

Subtask 36-13-41-420-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the HP Ground Connector
(1) Remove the blanking cap from the duct.
(2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Put the O-ring (4) in position between the check valve (5) and the HP ground connector (3).
(5) Put the HP ground connector (3), the O-ring (4) and the check valve (5) on the sealing ring (6) together as an assembly.
(6) Install the HP ground connector assembly on the open duct.
(7) Install the washers (2) and the AIPC 36-11-83-03-190 NUT (1) on the duct:
(a) Four washers must be installed at long bolts, only one washer at the short bolts.
(8) TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 1.06 and 0.82 m.daN (93.81 and 72.57 lbf.in )

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panel 191BB.
(3) Remove the access platform.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
