C. Remove the APU Bleed Check-Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-000-001).

A. Inspection of the APU Bleed Check-Valve
   (1) Make sure that the valve flaps, the hinge pin and/or the spring are not missing in the APU bleed check-valve. If the part(s) is (are) missing:
     (a) Do an inspection of the APU bleed-air system and the air conditioning system. Find the part(s) before you install a new APU bleed check-valve.
   (2) Examine the APU bleed check-valve for damage:
     (a) If the stop and/or the valve flaps on the APU bleed check-valve are worn, remove the marks with a Abrasive-- Scotch Brite Pads - (Material No.14FAB1) .
   (3) Make sure that the valve flaps open and close freely.
   (4) Make sure that the spring holds the weight of the valve flaps, when the valve flaps are closed.
