(3) Get access to the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47.2 and FR70 from the AFT cargo compartment.
(a) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Remove the applicable access panels for the APU bleed-air ducts:
(a) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the rear fuselage.

(d) If the Additional Center Tank No4 (ACT4) is installed, remove the ACT4 to get access to the APU bleed-air ducts (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(e) If the Additional Center Tank No5 (ACT5) is installed, remove the ACT5 to get access to the APU bleed-air ducts (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(f) If the Additional Center Tank No6 (ACT6) is installed, remove the ACT6 to get access to the APU bleed-air ducts (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(2) Get access to the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47/51 and FR54.
(a) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the access panel 197BB.
(b) Remove the access panel 197BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).
(3) Get access to the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47/51 and FR70 from the AFT cargo compartment.
(a) Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b) Remove the applicable access panels for the APU bleed-air ducts:
(a) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the rear fuselage.
(b) Open the applicable access door for the APU bleed-air ducts:

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, make sure that:
4. Procedure(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, make sure that:
- The OFF legends on the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches are on,
- the OFF legends of the ENG BLEED pushbutton switches are on,
- the X-BLEED selector switch is in the SHUT position.
- The ANTI ICE pushbutton switches are off (the ON legends are off).
Subtask 36-12-00-720-051-A
A. Leak Test of the APU Bleed Air Ducting
(1) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
(3) On the BLEED page of the lower ECAM DU, make sure that the APU bleed-air supply is correct.
(4) At the APU bleed-air ducts, make sure that there are no leaks, specially from the clamps and the connections.
(5) If you find a leak:
(a) Remove the related bleed air duct (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-000-001).
(b) Replace the related duct seals (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-400-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 20-26-00-910-002).
(c) Install the bleed air duct (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-400-001).
5. Close-up(1) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU, (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU, (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-005)
- For 131-9(A) APU, (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
NOTE: After the APU starts, Airbus recommends you to wait for a minimum of 3 minutes for the warm up period, before you select the APU BLEED.
(2) On AIR COND panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch (the ON legend comes on). (3) On the BLEED page of the lower ECAM DU, make sure that the APU bleed-air supply is correct.
(4) At the APU bleed-air ducts, make sure that there are no leaks, specially from the clamps and the connections.
(5) If you find a leak:
(a) Remove the related bleed air duct (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-000-001).
(b) Replace the related duct seals (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-400-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 20-26-00-910-002).
(c) Install the bleed air duct (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-41-400-001).
Subtask 36-12-00-860-061-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED P/BSW (the OFF legend comes on).
(2) Stop the APU:
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 36-12-00-410-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED P/BSW (the OFF legend comes on).
(2) Stop the APU:
- For a GTCP 36-300 APU, (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For an APS 3200 APU, (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-006)
- For a 131-9(A) APU, (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47 and FR50:
(a) Install the access panel 197BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) from below the access panel 197BB.
(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR46 and FR47:
(a) Install the partition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(4) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR47 and FR49:
(14) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
(17) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 36-12-00-410-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47 and FR50:
(a) Install the access panel 197BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).

(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR46 and FR47:
(a) Install the partition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
(4) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR47 and FR49:
- Install the access panel 151CW.
- Install the access panel 151DW.
- Install the access panel 151EW.
- Install the access panel 151HW.
- Install the access panel 151JW.
- Install the access panel 161AW.
- Install the access panel 161BW.
- Install the access panel 161CW.
- Install the partition panel 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(14) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
- Close the access door 312AR.
- Close the access door 314AR.
(17) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47 and FR47.3:
(a) Install the access panel 197KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) from below the access panel 197KB.
(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR46 and FR47.2:
(15) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
(18) If the Additional Center Tank (ACT) was removed install it again (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(19) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 36-12-00-410-053-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47 and FR47.3:
(a) Install the access panel 197KB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) from below the access panel 197KB.
(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR46 and FR47.2:
- Install the partition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
- Install the access panel 151RW.
- Install the access panel 151CW.
- Install the access panel 151DW.
- Install the access panel 151EW.
- Install the access panel 151HW.
- Install the access panel 151JW.
- Install the access panel 161AW.
- Install the access panel 161BW.
- Install the access panel 161CW.
- Install the partition panel 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(15) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
- Close the access door 312AR.
- Close the access door 314AR.
(18) If the Additional Center Tank (ACT) was removed install it again (Ref. AMM TASK 28-11-27-400-001).
(19) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47/51 and FR54:
(a) Install the access panel 197BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) from below the access panel 197BB.
(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR47/51 and FR53:
(12) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
(15) If Additional Center Tanks (ACT) were removed, do the steps that follow:
(a) If the Additional Center Tank No1 (ACT1) was removed, install the ACT1 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40).
(b) If the Additional Center Tank No2 (ACT2) was removed, install the ACT2 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40).
(c) If the Additional Center Tank No3 (ACT3) was removed, install the ACT3 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(d) If the Additional Center Tank No4 (ACT4) was removed, install the ACT4 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(e) If the Additional Center Tank No5 (ACT5) was removed, install the ACT5 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(f) If the Additional Center Tank No6 (ACT6) was removed, install the ACT6 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(16) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) For the APU bleed-air ducts between FR47/51 and FR54:
(a) Install the access panel 197BB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
(b) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) from below the access panel 197BB.
(3) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR47/51 and FR53:
- Install the partition panel 151BW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-001).
- Install the access panel 151SW.
- Install the access panel 151TW.
- Install the access panel 151UW.
- Install the access panel 151VW.
- Install the access panel 161AW.
- Install the access panel 161BW.
- Install the access panel 161CW.
- Install the partition panel 161DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(12) For the APU bleed-air ducts between the FR70 and FR77:
- Close the access door 312AR.
- Close the access door 314AR.
(15) If Additional Center Tanks (ACT) were removed, do the steps that follow:
(a) If the Additional Center Tank No1 (ACT1) was removed, install the ACT1 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40).
(b) If the Additional Center Tank No2 (ACT2) was removed, install the ACT2 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-40).
(c) If the Additional Center Tank No3 (ACT3) was removed, install the ACT3 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(d) If the Additional Center Tank No4 (ACT4) was removed, install the ACT4 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(e) If the Additional Center Tank No5 (ACT5) was removed, install the ACT5 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(f) If the Additional Center Tank No6 (ACT6) was removed, install the ACT6 (Ref. AMM D/O 28-11-27-00).
(16) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
