B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG panel 115VU:
Subtask 36-11-52-860-094-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the ENG panel 115VU:
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

- Set the PACK FLOW selector switch to LO.
- Make sure that the X BLEED selector switch is set to OPEN.
- Make sure that the ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF legends are off).

F. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser Hydraulic Control Unit
Subtask 36-11-52-010-132-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012). G. Get Access
(1) Open the thrust reverser halves (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the bleed-pressure regulator valve.

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
H. Connection of the Test Set
(1) Removal of the lockwire:
(2) Remove the blanking plug from the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(3) Connect the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL to the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(4) Close the shutoff valve, the purge valve and the pressure regulator valve on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
(6) Connection of the test set.
(7) Do a reset of the digital pressure gage.
(8) On the bleed-pressure regulator valve, disconnect the sense line from the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid (10HA1).
(9) Put a PLUG - BLANKING on the valve and on the disconnected line end.
(10) Make sure that the regulator valve of the test set is closed before pressurize the system.
4. Procedure(1) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING:
USE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the blanking cap of the test port of the PRV.(2) Remove the blanking plug from the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(3) Connect the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL to the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(4) Close the shutoff valve, the purge valve and the pressure regulator valve on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000 NEVER EXCEEDS 217 PSI (15 BAR). IF THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO THE BLEED TEST SET EXCEEDS THIS VALUE, THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
IF THE AIR CYLINDER DOES NOT HAVE A MANOMETER INSTALLED, YOU MUST INSTALL THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE BETWEEN THE AIR BOTTLE AND BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000. THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE WILL LIMIT THE PRESSURE IN THE BLEED TEST SET TO 217 PSI (15 BAR).
(5) Connect an air cylinder to the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED. (6) Connection of the test set.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT.
THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Connect the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED with the short bend flexible-assembly to the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL. (7) Do a reset of the digital pressure gage.
(8) On the bleed-pressure regulator valve, disconnect the sense line from the bleed-pressure-regulator valve control-solenoid (10HA1).
(9) Put a PLUG - BLANKING on the valve and on the disconnected line end.
(10) Make sure that the regulator valve of the test set is closed before pressurize the system.
Subtask 36-11-52-790-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Leak Test of the Bleed-Pressure Regulator Valve with the APU in Operation on the Ground
(1) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
(3) On the lower ECAM DU, push the BLEED key (on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page comes into view).
(4) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:
5. Close-up(1) Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
- GTCP 36-300 (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
or - APS 3200 (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
or - 131-9(A) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008). the APU BLEED.
NOTE: After the APU starts, Airbus recommends you to wait for a minimum of 3 minutes for the warm up period, before you select the APU BLEED.
(2) On AIR COND overhead-panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch (the ON legend comes on). (3) On the lower ECAM DU, push the BLEED key (on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page comes into view).
(4) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:
- Make sure that the related bleed-pressure regulator valve is shown closed.
- Record the values of the engine bleed pressure.

A. Disconnection of the Test Set
(1) Close the shutoff valve of the air cylinder.
(2) Slowly open the purge valve to depressurize the test set.
(3) Disconnection of the test set.
(4) Disconnect the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL from the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(5) Disconnect the air cylinder from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
(6) Put the blanking plug on the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(7) Installation of the lockwire:

Subtask 36-11-52-410-124-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Close the shutoff valve of the air cylinder.
(2) Slowly open the purge valve to depressurize the test set.
(3) Disconnection of the test set.

BEFORE YOU START TO REMOVE THE TOOLING, MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NO PRESSURIZED GAS LEFT INSIDE THE DUCTS. IT CAN CAUSE AN INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT.
THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Disconnect the short bend flexible-assembly from the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL and from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED. (4) Disconnect the M82000460 CLAPPER,BLEED-EXTERNAL from the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(5) Disconnect the air cylinder from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
(6) Put the blanking plug on the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
(7) Installation of the lockwire:
WARNING:
