A. Installation of the Tool
   (1) Connect the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET as shown in the figure and do the steps that follow:
     (a) Use the 99127-231 TEST SET BLEED - KIT on the wing to do this test.
     (b) Set the pressure gage (5) to ON. The pressure value given on the LCD screen must be equal to 0 psi (0 bar). If it is not equal to 0 psi (0 bar)i, push the ON button for 10 seconds.
   (2) Connect the hose (T04) to the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
   (3) Connect the hose (T05) to the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
   (4) Connect the hoses (T04) and (T05) to "Y" adaptor (T06).
   (5) Connect "Y" adaptor (T06) to the test port adaptor (T14) or (T25).
   (6) Connect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) between the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and an external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL:
  • Start the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (7) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the blanking cap of the test port of the PRV.
   (8) Remove the blanking cap from the test port of the PRV.
   (9) Install the test port adaptor (T14) or (T25) on the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
   (10) Open the pressure-source shut-off valve to slowly pressurize the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET to 100 psi (6.8948 bar).

B. Functional Test of the Bleed-Pressure Regulator Valve
   (1) Do this test:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the test set:
  • Set the Blue valve (7) to ON.

2.On the test set:
  • With the pressure gauge A (3), increase the pressure to 29 +/- 1 psi (2 +/- 0.07 bar).
NOTE: The pressure value given in this test is applicable to all the types of valves. But the opening pressure can change with the reference of the valve.
On the test set:
  • The pressure is given on the LCD (5).

On the bleed-pressure regulator valve:
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
3.In the cockpit, on the AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Release the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch (the OFF legend is on).
On the bleed-pressure regulator valve:
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
4.In the cockpit, on the AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Push the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch (the OFF legend is off).
On the bleed-pressure regulator valve:
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
5.On the test set:
  • With the pressure gauge A (3), decrease the pressure to 0 psi.
On the bleed-pressure regulator valve:
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
6.On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Release the ENG BLEED 1(2) pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).

C. Removal of the Tool
   (1) Stop the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
   (2) Disconnect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) from the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and the external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
   (3) Remove the test port adaptor (T14) or (T25) from the test port of the bleed-pressure regulator valve.
   (4) Disconnect "Y" adaptor (T06) from the test port adaptor (T14) or (T25).
   (5) Disconnect the hoses (T04) and (T05) from "Y" adaptor (T06).
   (6) Disconnect the hose (T05) from the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
   (7) Disconnect the hose (T04) from the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
   (8) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the PRV as follows:
     (a) For PRV standard 6774B and 6714D:
  • TORQUE the blanking cap to between 1.2 and 1 m.daN (106.19 and 88.50 lbf.in ) T.
     (b) For PRV standard 6774E, 6774F and 6774G:
   (9) Safety the blanking plug with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
