(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in the ambient conditions.
(a) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the PRV (3), harness assembly connector, PRV muscle sense-tube and starter duct.
(b) Visually examine the PRV (3) as follows:
1 Look for the unwanted objects, cracks, corrosion, other damage and correct assembly.
(c) Put a new AIPC 36-11-86-20-270 SEAL (1) and the PRV (3) in the correct position on the starter duct:
1 Make sure the flow direction arrow on the valve is pointed in the correct direction.
(d) Attach the PRV (3) to the starter duct with the V-band coupling (2). Do not torque the V-band coupling (2) at this time.
(e) Install the mid-Y duct and the intermediate pressure check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-41-400-802):
1 Do not install the PRV muscle sense-tube at this time.
2 Do not tighten the V-band couplings, bolts, nuts, pylon HP Bleed Valve (HPV) sense-tube or link assemblies at this time.
